differentiate your math centres - updated!

Happy new year! I can't believe it's already 2018! I had a wonderful, relaxing holiday. I was able to get lots of work done for my teachers pay teachers store as well - all of my differentiated word problems have been updated with new fonts and some beautiful new clip art!

Just like before, there are three levels of word problems included. Each level includes a page of student sized problems for gluing into their math journals or onto the new workspaces included in this update. There is also a full page sized word problem for each level, which you can use to project onto a SMART board to have students solve digitally, or print as a work mat for multiple kiddos to work around.

Also included in this update are work spaces if you don't use math journals with your kiddos. A space to glue the word problem is included, as well as lots of blank space for them to show their thinking! I've used these, or had my students glue into math journals/loose leaf paper, or I've had them work in groups on a laminated piece of chart paper with dry erase pens to show their learning. :)

The final new addition to this product is a "questions to prompt student thinking" page. I keep this poster on my Math board to use as a reference, both for myself and for my students to use when talking to each other.  Since these problems are open-ended, a student can never say "I'm done!" - instead, use these prompts to get them thinking deeper.

Each month is available individually, or for a discounted price you can purchase the year-round bundle here:

To celebrate my new updates, it's 15% off for the next week (through to February 3, 2018!).

To try a free sample, I have a section of my January word problems available as a freebie!

Happy teaching!
